Hello Friends!
It's Sunday and a lot of us are doing laundry to get our families ready for the week. But what about getting our homes ready for the week too?
I love the smell of fresh hanging laundry, but most of us are not able to hang our clothing or our linens out at this time of the year. I swear by and love this recipe for homemade fabric and linen refresher. I use this on a daily basis when I am making our bed. I spray our sheets, pillows, blankets, and even in the air for a quick refresh.
Why?
Because who doesn't like to get into a bed at night that smells fresh?
I know I personally do. I even use this spray after I pull our linens from the dryer just to get that fresh scent. You can make this refresher from items already in your pantry or laundry room because most of us already have it. It costs less than $3.00 to make and will last a LONG time!
What You Need:
1 spray bottle
1 cup of water
1 tsp of baking soda
1 tablespoon of fabric softener.
Just mix the ingredients in the spray bottle and give it a good shake.
Now get to spraying and enjoy how fresh and clean your home smells!
The reason I say that this costs less than $3.00 to make is you can usually buy your favorite fabric softener in a travel size at a Dollar Tree or other dollar stores.
Just about everyone has a spray bottle lying around somewhere, so just rinse it out really well. If you don't have a spray bottle you can always go buy an inexpensive one for about $1.00.
And of course baking soda is usually not that expensive (usually less than $1) also and if you already have it you just saved you even more money!
This is an amazing product to have and not have to break the bank to keep your house smelling Fresh and Amazing!!
As always
Lots of Love and Sprinkles
Melissa
