Simply Sarah Lynn 33 @Lynn33Sarah
Hello Friends!!! I want to introduce to you Sarah. Sarah is a YouTuber and a Mom to top it off. I've looked into her content and it's truly great stuff. I've even learned a bit from it myself and because of that I felt that I just had to promote her. After all, I know how hard it is even trying to manage a blog while being a wife and mother to my own family, But Sarah is killing it! I reached out to Sarah last week for a quick interview and couldn't be happier that she agreed. I wanted to showcase her here in hopes that you all find as much value in her content as I did.
Smart Mom Crafty Mom Blog Questions:
*Tell the readers a little bit about yourself? Hi! My name is Sarah and I have been married for almost 8 years and we have two little girls – 3 and 1 years old. I am a former teacher; now stay-at-home-mom and homemaker. My husband and I lead worship at our church. We thrive on encouraging others and giving them hope in their lives. I enjoy crafting, gardening, decorating, and do-it-yourself projects around the house. I love updating items around the home to make them fresh and new. We have recently (in the last year) been pushing towards a debt-free lifestyle and being diligent in our finances so we can live a stress-free life and be a blessing to others.
*What are you hoping to teach the other Moms that view your content? And how does that information help you? My goal for my channel is to give other moms motivation to tackle everyday tasks with joy and satisfaction as a service to their families. It’s an underappreciated job, but one that is most important. I also want to help new moms feel less stress and give hope in their new adventure in motherhood. This content helps me by bringing a community outreach and getting connected to other moms who have great advice and motivation too.
*What motivated you to start a You Tube channel and did you ever get stage fright? I decided to start my YouTube channel after seeing how much other moms helped me. Also, I wanted to get more involved in the mommy-movement of empowering other moms with their everyday tasks, that can sometimes leave moms feeling alone and isolated. Plus, I wanted an outlet to possibly earn some extra income for our family. I’ve always enjoyed providing for my family and wanted a way to do that while still staying at home, with my two girls. I am still working toward this goal. I never really got stage fright. When I was a teacher I learned how to address a crowd. My personality is the opposite though; I’m naturally shy, but the Lord has given me the peace when I need it to speak or sing to a large crowd.
*What advice would you give up and coming Mom Bloggers if they wanted to start a You Tube channel? It is hard work. It is not easy. And, you have to budget your time in a smart way. It truly is a job. But, it is so rewarding to hear feedback on how your video has helped another person or has inspired them in some way in the way they clean, shop, organize, and live. I’m still growing and I’m seeing this more and more.
*Do you have any funny Mom stories you would like to share? Too many to mention! I’ll recap one story that happened fairly recently. Siroon (our 3 year old) is learning more and more how to be a good sister. It’s difficult sometimes, but she catches on quickly and improves dramatically. So, whenever we are correcting her behavior, we typically say, “worry about you, Siroon. We will worry about Naomi (our 1 year old)” So, my husband was helping Siroon with a task and she said, “Daddy, worry about you, worry about YOU.” This was both hysterical and encouraging – to know that she is listening when we are trying our best to help her become a good sister.
*Where can people find you? Social media, email? They can find me everywhere!! No really, they can find me on YouTube at www.youtube.com/SimplySarahLynn, on Instagram at @simplysarahlynn33, on Twitter @ Lynn33Sarah, and Pinterest at Simply Sarah Lynn.
