Cabbage with Onions and Pasta
*Some call it Fried Cabbage with Onions and Pasta
Ingredients:
*1 head of Cabbage sliced and chopped ( The bigger it is the bigger the frying pan or pot you will need)
*1 Large Onion
*2 Tablespoons of Butter
* 1- 2 Bags of Egg Noodles ( or whatever pasta you have on hand like a 1lb box or a 2lb box)
*2 Tablespoons of extra Butter ( for your pasta noodles)
* Salt and Pepper to taste!
Melt your butter in your frying pan or pot
Add your cabbage and your onion
Start your water to boil for your egg noodles (or pasta)
Cook your cabbage and onion mixture down until it is soft and completely sautéed
Add your egg noodles (or pasta) to the boiling water until done
Drain your egg noodles (or pasta) and add your extra butter
You will now add the sautéed cabbage and onions to combine all three together add your salt and pepper to taste in the pot or a large serving dish
You are done!!
Serve with French bread, or a salad
Note:
You can add cubed ham or polish sausage that has been cubed to this dish
