Creamed Ground Beef with Toast / Bread
Ingredients:
* 1 Pound of Ground Beef
* 1/4 Cup of All-Purpose Flour
* 1 Cube of Beef Bouillon
* 3/4 Teaspoon Salt
* 1 Pinch Ground Black Pepper
* 2 1/4 Cups of Milk
* 1/4 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
Total time to cook from beginning to end 30 minutes
Brown your beef in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Stir in your flour, beef bouillon, salt and your pepper. Have it all saute together for around five minutes or until the flour is absorbed into the ground beef.
After this, you will gradually add your 2 1/4 cups of milk and your teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce.
You will bring all of the mixture to a simmer and stirring it constantly. Cook until it is thickened like a gravy. Serve over your toast or bread, potatoes, rice.
* I add a chopped onion to the meat when it is browning to give it extra flavor.
*You can add a can of rinsed peas to the gravy mixture before serving it over the toast, bread, potatoes, rice.
* I also serve this with either with a bowl of sliced tomatoes or a vegetable of some sort like peas or carrots.
These meal is affordable and is a go to in our house!
Happy cooking, Happy eating!
