Valentines Day Books

Hello Friends!

I've got a great Valentine's Day Idea for your children and families.

Valentine's Day Books. I like to start each month off with a table for that holiday or season for my children. My children love to read and we love to read to our children. I believe it is a form of a vital necessity so children can learn more. It also gives more insight of your children and their learning process if you are the ones reading to them. Your children learn so much by reading and it improves their thinking ability as well. Even listening to audio books is amazing for children.

So, Valentines Day books.

I like to find them any place that I can. I can find them at the thrift store, dollar stores, big box stores, book stores, and the library. Usually, libraries have a check out day for almost a month, so it's perfect for a holiday or season.

Since my children have SO many books, I like to change them out so they won't get bored. Why? Because usually children get bored very easily if they are not engaged in something that interests them. If this interests you, this is how I like to put my books for my children. I like to organize them, by holidays, seasons, and then I have books that are just every day type books and mix them in with the books that I have out for those holidays, and seasons. I store them in separate 2.5 gallon Ziplock bags (dollar store) when not in use to keep the pages fresh, (we live in a high humidity level area) and have them in a tote and change them out when I need too.

When I do put them out, I like to put them in a basket, or a bin for that season or holiday because I usually do a table for the kids in that holiday or season's theme. It's fun and it usually gets kids engaged in it.

I highly recommend these books for children that revolve around Valentines Day!
